You know those stupid conversations you have at sleepovers? Yeah, this is a comedy series about that.

What is Goodnight John?

Goodnight John is the newest addition to the stable of Future Boyfriends comedy series. It follows the titular John and his aggravated roommate Alex every night, right before they go to sleep. The dynamic is kind of like Jake and Amir, but right before bed. You’re going to like it.

After finishing the release of the John and Kyle Do Everything movie, I received a call from John about a script he wrote– a pilot for a potential new web series. I read it and laughed out loud, repeatedly, like a fool. I knew immediately that we had to make this new idea into a reality.

That pilot script has not changed a word. After defining the scope and idea for the series, we wrote an additional seven episodes for a full season of the show, and John got to work with production out in Los Angeles. Our aim is to make shorter, more digestible content than we previously did with the John and Kyle web series, with the added benefit of easy production (it all takes place in a bedroom!). Maybe we can make more in the future. Who knows.
